Well, I have been suffering from alcohol addiction , and I have been to two more rehab centers before landing at mehar foundation. Although the previous centers I had been to, it was like a 5 star accommodations , but nothing was like Mehar foundation. In my previous experiences, I could see those were just money making institutions, just wanting to prolong your stay, instead of addressing your real problem. But Mehar foundation, first of all it’s not a money making institution. Their motto is to actually help you and take you out of addiction. The project director here, Dr Abhimanyu Rampal himself had an inspiring journey and he connects personally with every fellow member and his sole motive is to help the addicts come in recovery. He has deep insight into this disease of addiction and he builds a personal connection with you and gives unmatched guidance to help you come in recovery. The counselling staff here is as well really well learned in psychology, is compassionate and doesn’t treat you as addicts , rather they hear you out and accompany you throughout in your journey to recovery. I have had a wonderful experience with my psychologist/counsellor Ms Urvashi who guided me step by step to deal with my underlying emotional problems and traumas that led me to addiction. The atmosphere here at Mehar foundation is also nothing like a rehab center but it’s like living with an extended family, family of fellow members who share similar problems and issues of addiction. The bottom line is , if you are suffering from any kind of addiction, either it’s alcohol or any drugs.

Rashmi mam is one of the best councillors i have seen “ she’s very wellcoming the way she deal’s with patients are unmatchable “ my younger brother was admitted here in 2022 feb and now he is fully recovered and got married to a german girl and got settled there . I had a very homely environment at spym sec 18 chd ..all the staff is very cooperative and Rashmi mam is a one good counsellors they are having..she sorts all kind of problems and listens to everyone..and provide positive feedback.
