"Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College is affiliated with Utkal University and has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. The college's mission is to provide a quality education through academic, cultural and physical activities and prepare talented youth as responsible and valuable citizens for effective participation in all areas of the developmental process and nation-building. The College is known for their commendable infrastructure, with 42 classrooms, eight galleries and three halls. The first institutions in the state to introduce the Semester system in 2006-2007, following the guidelines of the U.G.C. The College prepares talented youth as accountable and valuable citizens for effective participation in developmental areas. Each Department of the College has a Seminar Library for which Books and Journals are procured every year for use by students and teachers. The Cell aims to provide employment opportunities in different sectors by conducting campus and off-campus drives and collaborating with various reputed organisations.

2026 Update: The college library houses 46,533 books, 13,282 journals and periodicals, 112 encyclopedias, 3,161 reference books, and has a reading room with a seating capacity of 100."

“2026 Update: Maharishi College of Natural Law was established with a significant donation from the Maharishi Institute of Creative Intelligence (MICI), an organisation of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, after whom the institution is named. The college is recognised by the Government of Odisha and was initially affiliated with Utkal University. Currently, the college has around 2,700 students, supported by 55 teaching staff and 60 non-teaching staff members. The academic staff includes 25 PhD holders and 25 M.Phil holders, with additional staff including 14 demonstrators and one PET. Maharishi College of Natural Law is affiliated with Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, and recognised by the relevant academic bodies. The college offers various facilities, including a library, sports amenities, IT infrastructure, a cafeteria, and an auditorium, creating a comprehensive learning environment for students.”

BJB college, one of the most premier colleges in the entire Odisha situated on Lewis road bjb nagar. This has lately become an autonomous college and offers every possible degree / PUC courses. I went to this great college to do my graduation in physics when education used to be of great standard , quality and free from private sector greedy corporates who loot middle class in broad day light . That very free education has taught us never to vote an uneducated , a goon , an unsocial animal while electing your leader during the festivals of democracy.

This college built on the name of greatest revolutionary of odisha and leader of odisha's first rebellion against British. One of the leading autonomous college in odisha. You find no of course in this autonomous college. Lecturer are good in manner.

Buxi Jagabandhu Bidhyadhar Autonomous College was establsihed by the state government in 1957. It is one of the most popular and the top most choice of students for pursuing higher education. It is located rigjt at the entrance to Bhubaneswar near Kalpana Square. It has all the basic amenities needed by the students like playgeound, labs, canteen, common room etc.

It is a amazing place for study. The department of botany is very good department in the college. The campus is safe. Overally the place is very nice.All the facilities are available. All the staff members behaviour is good.

Except Canteen,everything is quite good. I have studied here. Some of Physics and English and Chemistry teachers are my favourite. Nice atmosphere. No hostel facility available here. Ragging Free campus.

Amazing college with great teachers.. Environment of this college is too good.
