“Christ College was established in 1944 by the Cuttack Christian Education Board (CCEB) under the title of Utkal Christian College. The College has an urban Co-operative Bank which provides banking facilities to the Employees and Students. The College is affiliated with Utkal University as an Intermediate College in Arts. The College has an array of nearly 3,500 students on their rolls with about 80 qualified teachers. The College has a beautiful playground of 8100 square metres for students' sports and recreation. Christ College has an expansive range of facilities such as a standard room for girl students, a staff common room for separate departments, public conveniences, a students union room, a college hall, an open-air theatre and fees counters. Christ College has been kept under 24-hour security management due to the installation of closed-circuit HD cameras. The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled and can be accessed by teachers, students and staff. Christ College also provided a Canteen for the students and boarders of two University hostels.”
