The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is India's internationally renowned college and one of the oldest learning centres in Western India. They have 1200 qualified faculty members and 1500 administrative staff on campus to accommodate more than 35000 students with cosmopolitan lives. Their featured programs are selected through a rigorous process and uniquely created every semester for their students. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Library has 25,000 books belonging to the two State Libraries (Huzur Political Office and Secretariat Library) and handed over to the University Library. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has one of the biggest Hostel Campuses in western India. They have 12 Boys Hostels and 4 Girls Hostels spread over approximately 100 acres. Their Physical Education department has a swimming pool, gymnasium and other out and indoor facilities for the entire student community.
