“Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala is a residential school for boys run by the Ramakrishna Mission in the southern Indian city of Mysuru. The students, grouped based on age and class, live in spacious dormitories, well-lit and well-ventilated. The hostel provides fresh vegetables, fruits, and coconuts and serves South Indian snacks such as dosa and idli. Each room is overseen by a monastic member or a housemaster. The campus is designed to encourage learning and growth in a natural setting, offering a familial environment and personal mentoring. The students take care of the upkeep of the dormitories, including the bathrooms and toilets. Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala has a well-equipped library with 21,000 books and a reference section, as well as a well-equipped dispensary with a dental section. There is a well-furnished auditorium that can accommodate 500 people, complete with green room facilities and equipped with a multimedia projector and sound system.”
