“Central State Library is managed by the Secondary Education Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The library was established to meet the needs of students, research scholars, and faculty members of the University. The library has an extensive collection designed to support a wide range of research and learning needs. They have over 771,097 books and bound volumes, along with 20,364 PhD theses; the library ensures access to a vast repository of knowledge. The library offers 4,221 e-books, 106 print journals, and 6,504 e-journals and e-databases, ensuring up-to-date resources for all. They have 22 daily newspapers and 35 magazines; the library provides diverse reading materials for both academic and recreational purposes, making it a valuable resource for all. Central State Library also features a dedicated children's reading room and a separate air-conditioned space for reading newspapers. The library’s mission is focused on educating young minds and promoting personal growth, always prioritising the greater good over profit.”
