Ravindra Madhukar Ponkshe is the Founder of Heramb School of Music & Cultural Arts and has been imparting knowledge to students for the past 25 years. The school teaches music instruction on all instruments for all ages, and its students perform amazing shows at local venues. All of their instructors are highly trained and professionally experienced in musical programs. They organise competitions and gatherings for their students to promote their efforts. 2026 Update: Heramb School of Music & Cultural Arts, affiliated with Pune Bharat Gayan Samaj and serving as the head branch for the Mumbai/Thane region, offers music exams from Prarambhic to Visharad in both instrumental and vocal music, including Classical and Light Classical. The school is also associated with Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya for regular examinations. Shri Ravindra M. Ponkshe is a renowned percussionist and Tabla expert trained under Pandit Madhukar Joshi. The school has a rich history of musical performances, including Tabla solos, orchestras, and Classical concerts. Mr. Ballal Nimkar is a distinguished Tabla player with over 25 years of experience, has performed in more than 1,000 programs, and also teaches instruments like the Keyboard and the Dholak.
