“Dr. Bindu Menon obtained her MBBS at Barkatullah University, Bhopal. She did her MD in Medicine at Jiwaji University, Gwalior, G.R. Medical College and her DM in Neurology at the University of Mumbai, Mumbai. She has 23 years of experience in this field. She holds professional memberships in the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council, Indian Epilepsy Association, and the Indian Epilepsy Society. She has completed over 240 awareness programmes to date, educating over 35,000 people. She focuses on awareness and reducing the treatment gap in neurological disorders, particularly stroke and epilepsy. She is a founder of the Dr. Bindu Menon Foundation, a non-profit organisation. Through the Dr. Bindu Menon Foundation, she provides free treatment to individuals with epilepsy and stroke every month. She is a multilingual neurologist who speaks English, Hindi, and Telugu. She also sees patients at Apollo Speciality Hospital.”
