I visited Kamatchi Mess after 9 years on January 1st, 2025, and once again, they didn’t fail to impress! Everything we tried was great, and the biryanis were simply amazing. The Kola Urundai was perfect, and we absolutely loved the Prawn Kamatchi—it was a unique and fantastic dish, something we had never tasted before. The pricing was reasonable, the service was quick and efficient, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. A must-visit for great food and a satisfying dining experience.

Must try when in Pondicherry, Prawns Kamatchi is a must try here it was bursting with flavors. Mutton Chukka, Mutton Biryani and Vanjaram Fish Fry were also delicious. Better reach early for lunch as the restaurant is always crowded, there is a dedicated waiting area and spacious car park.

Whenever I visit Pondicherry will come to kamatchi restaurant atleast once. For the past 10 years regularly coming to this restaurant. Ordered mutton biryani, non veg meals, prawn kamatchi, kuzhi omelette. All were excellent taste. Also ice beeda which will be sold separately is good. One of the best restaurant in Pondicherry.

COPPER KITCHEN REVIEWS

On our way back to hometown, the last restaurant we decided to have lunch was Copper Kitchen which turned out to be the best !!! Food served was arrow chicken with tangy sauce, came out really good. Then chicken 65 biryani with other accompaniments was also decent and delivered good taste. Refreshments like mojitos were had to supplement the entire lunch. Satisfying from our side in regards to great food, perfect ambience, lovely atmosphere and most important courteous service. Washroom also was very clean and tidy. Throughout the start of lunch till it's completion left us in awe. Loved the warm hospitality.

The tables were well-kept, and the overall ambiance was clean and inviting. The attentive staff ensured that everything was in order, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, Copper Kitchen is a fantastic choice for anyone craving delicious biriyani in a tidy setting. I highly recommend it.

Sujoy and team were really gave a wonderful experience for the dinner we planned for celebrating a birthday dinner. Really satisfied. I recommend.
