He earned his MBBS degree from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 2001, followed by his MS in Ophthalmology from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, in 2007. Subsequently, he pursued several fellowships, including a Short Term Fellowship in the Medical Management of Diabetic Retinopathy at Arvind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, and another in the Management of Glaucoma at Arvind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli.
