We have experienced an ongoing mice problem in our flat over the past two weeks, with sightings on four separate occasions. Our landlord arranged for Falcon Pest Control to attend the property, and their team carried out treatment professionally by sealing and filling several holes inside the flat. However, despite these works, the mice are still active within the wall cavities, particularly during the night, causing significant noise and disturbance. Our neighbours have also reported similar issues in their flat, which suggests the infestation may be affecting the wider building rather than just one property. Falcon Pest Control advised that the mice are likely living within the internal walls and possibly the communal areas of the building. They recommended that further treatment should be arranged for the wall spaces and communal areas, including bait stations and additional control measures, in order to fully resolve the problem. While access into the rooms appears to have been reduced after the treatment, the infestation has not been completely eliminated and further building-level action is still required.
