Good picnic destination near Durgapur. Deul is very near to Jaidev kenduli. A beautiful place in the bank of river Ajay. A Deer park is there. A children park and boating are also there. Overall, it's a good picnic spot. U must visit Ichai ghosh temple in Deul. It bears the signature of old bengal temples. The place has a historical significance of 800 years old monument cum deul of echai Ghosh. Lush greenery of garh jungle attracts tourist through out the winter. There is a resort also, people can stay and enjoy the moonlit night in calm cool environment. Except that one can enjoy a day outing and picnic beside the bank of calm Ajay.

The park is well maintained. Lots of places to enjoy all day with family. Boating, Bumping Car and Toy train is very enjoyable. Children can play in the park. They get plenty of arrangements there to play with. Deer and peacock add some better feelings to this.

Very nice pollution free place. Enjoyable for every ages....family place...foods are available just outside the gate in a very reasonable price...

Oh what to say about this place, its really a peaceful zone, its a very big area with lots of beautiful big trees, lots of places to pave, to seat, to chit chat, to play. But there is no ticket system for any other amusement which we expect in the park. Its totally a natural zone. But what to say about people's behaviour, the place is crowded with plastic packets & other things. We should be careful about our behaviour towards nature.

Major Park offers a serene escape from city life with its lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere. Perfect for picnics, leisurely strolls, and family outings, the park boasts well-maintained trails and scenic spots. However, limited amenities and occasional overcrowding can detract from the experience, especially on weekends.

This place is good for people who likes to be around nature, also for the exercising and workout people.
