Bansi Vihar, located near Patna Railway Junction, is a must visit for South Indian food enthusiasts. During my recent visit with family, we tried the butter masala dosa paired with tomato soup, and it was a delightful experience. The dosa was perfectly crisp and well blended with flavorful fillings, while the soup complemented it beautifully. This restaurant, known for its old world charm and traditional touch, stands out as an iconic place offering the best dosas in the city. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to experience their authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine.

This is the best place in patna to have dosa/idli/uttapam. Other places are there but i have been going here for last 30 years and it has maintained its quality of food. They serve other items as well eg chowmein, fried rice etc but the dosa+uttapam takes the top spot. It is a pure veg restaurant. I wish they also served south indian lunch eg rasam rice/ sadya meals but as of now,there isnt any such good options in the city.

If you’re from southern part of Bharat and looking for Idly-Vada in Patna; then Bansi Vihar is your destination.

This place is best for south Indian , Chinese , Indian food , sweets, bamkeens , cakes are available . cost of food items is not high .offers are also available sometime . u can enjoy with family Also u can book for birthday or party . Behavior of staff and manager is very good . service if staff is good . clean and hygienic place .

Best place for dosa!!! Imma in love with it! Um...i didn't like the paneer butter masala tho overall great place for veg food.

Veg ke liye isse acha option khi nhi hoga ,,lover of paneer ,.....go try there veg thali ,paneer tikka many more this are available in patnarasoi ,in budget . You can celebrate your birthday, kitty party ,etc in budget or this is perfect place for vegetarian.

I would give this restaurant a 5.0 as I have really enjoyed all my dine in here. The food is great as well as the atmosphere. It's not very crowded and staffs are friendly and would help a lot. The service is amazing. Love this place for its affordable and tasty meals & would like to dine in soon.

I am from chhattisgarh and visited this place during my stay at patna. The food is good, quantity is best , staff behaviour was very nice , they provide tasty, hygienic service.........i tried their veg. Dum biriyani and masala dosa both were good. Satisfaction .
