"Shiva Mandir Deobaloda, dedicated to Lord Shiva, was constructed by the Kalchuris in the 13th century. The temple sees a high footfall during Mahashivratri, as devotees from nearby villages gather to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. Shiva Mandir Deobaloda is built of sandstone in the Nagara style and features an east-facing layout with a garbhagriha (sanctum) and a pillared navaranga mandapa. One of the magnificent temples of 14th century Kalchuri era of the Chhattisgarh. Very beautifully carved walls, stambhs, door jambs, vedi bandh, and garbhagrih. Must watch are the Gajantaka Shiva and Tripurantaka Shiva. The grandeur of the temple will leave you awestruck in the beauty of it. Also, spend some pleasant time near the pond beside which is said to have an underground tunnel opening in Arang. A must visit place for history, heritage, culture, archaeology, and architecture lovers.

The Dev Baloda Temple, standing for 600 years, holds a remarkable historical significance. However, the lack of visitor respect and improper maintenance is disheartening. The temple's serene atmosphere is marred by people touching sacred sculptures and littering the small park outside. Enhanced security measures and restrictions on idol interaction would preserve the temple's sanctity and cultural heritage. The sight of the Nandi idol wrapped in plastic and surrounded by ropes, yet still being touched by visitors, is a concerning reflection of the need for better preservation efforts.

Ancient temple dedicated to lord shiva .The temple is made of sand stone having beautiful carving on its wall. The temple constructed by the Kalchuries in 14th century . The Shiva linga is in garbhgrih and is approached through a beautifully carved door. Overall it's very beautiful and peaceful.
