“2025 Update: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mandir is a unique temple inspired by India’s grand forts and temples. The temple spans 4 acres and features authentic stone fortifications, a 42-foot-high entrance, and a 55-foot main spire. At its centre stands a 6.5-foot black stone statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, sculpted by renowned artist Arun Yogiraj. The spacious assembly hall, adorned with intricately carved pillars and murals, leads to a magnificent teakwood door. This temple is not only a place of worship but also a living tribute to the enduring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The temple organized several social service initiatives under Shivkranti Pratishthan Trust, keeping in mind the true spirit of “Service to Society,” including a Grand Blood Donation Camp (Raktadan Hech Shreshtha Daan) in which hundreds of Shiv devotees enthusiastically participated to help prevent blood shortages, a Free General Health Check-up Camp where expert doctors provided health assessments and guidance to local citizens, and a Free Eye Check-up Camp offering eye examinations and consultations for the needy, fulfilling their social responsibility towards the community. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mandir has facilities like bike and car parking, clean and hygienic washrooms, and a baby feeding room.”
