I recently had the pleasure of visiting Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal, and it was an experience to remember! The park is a perfect blend of natural beauty and wildlife, making it an ideal destination for a family outing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the serene environment and the sight of various wild animals in their natural habitat. It was thrilling to see lions,tortoises, snakes, butterflies, deer, and the majestic nilgai up close. The park is well-maintained, and the animals appear to be well-cared for, which added to the overall positive experience. One thing to keep in mind is to carry your own water, as there are no facilities inside the park to purchase drinks. Also, it's best to avoid bringing food with you to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the park. You have the option to drive your own vehicle through the park or hire one from the park authorities, which is very convenient. Overall, Van Vihar National Park offers a wonderful escape into nature and a chance to witness wildlife in a safe and controlled environment. It's a must-visit for anyone in Bhopal or passing through. Just remember to stay hydrated and enjoy the beauty of the park.

Van Vihar National Park is home to grassy meadows, wetlands, and bamboo plants, along with tigers and spotted deer. Leopards and hyenas are highlights of the zoo, while a rescue centre focuses on sloth bears. There’s also a vulture conservation breeding centre, a butterfly park, and an area exhibiting tortoises, plus a museum shop, and a handful of food stalls and eateries.

Well maintained… relocations of hamlets within the Park is really appreciable.. enough water ponds.. naturally well located with good rivers.. backwaters of Tawa dam adds to beauty.. wild animals looks very healthy… lucky to sight tigress ‘ Machili’ with its three well grown cubs… as a Forester a visit to the National Park was really satisfying…

I found an awesome place near bhadbhada it is just opposite to ser sapata bhopal. Very peace and calm place i felt the real nature there. Also there is an jungle park named which is covered by forestry and lots of different kind of flowering are there you will feel very peace and real nature covered area. I must tell you to visit there in the rainy season it became an heaven in bhopal can go with friends and family.

Must Visit place if you in Bhopal. A great play for kids and family. It has a mini train drive for kids and adults within its premises, food corners and gardens!! You only get vegetarian food inside and cannot take outside food inside the premises also there is a ticket charge for this place.

This is very beautiful place and nature is also too good it has beautiful lake which is Asia's largest artificial lake. Food court & playing area is good. This place is suitable for pre-wedding shoot but for that we should pay some charges.

An absolute paradise for a person who understands architecture. The play of spaces within various levels. The sheer thought process behind designing the whole space is very accurate. The use of proportion to get accurate building heights that in turn enhance courtyard spaces. The design of these spaces itself invites people to conduct various kinds of public entertainment activities or just a relaxation space. The oat and the view of the bada talab beyond which the masjid could have been visible at some point of time. Charles Correa just showcased the in-depth understanding of context and usage of discs in the best possible way.

Bharat bhawan is a multi complex and museum built by famous architect Charles correa. It houses multiple art galleries, a graphic printing workshop, a ceramics workshop, an open-air amphitheatre, a studio theatre, an auditorium, a museum of tribal & folk art and libraries of Indian poetry, classical music & folk music. The interior has coffered ceilings. The place has been well designed according to the contours. The photography inside the museum is prohibited. Best experience in that place has an open amphitheatre. Great view to the upper lake. The entry fee is Rs 10. It is well managed by government of Madhya Pradesh.

One of the best places to visit in Bhopal if you are art lover. It has separate section of music, poetry, sculpture, drama and paintings. With a meagre entry fee of 10/- you can get even lake view and enjoy the greenery too.
