"Arignar Anna Zoological Park is managed by two hundred and fifty-nine members of staff and some contract workers. It covers about 602 hectares, including a rescue and rehabilitation centre. Arignar Anna Zoological Park has more than 2300 animals. The zoo has achieved excellence as a dynamic conservation centre of nature by encouraging the Western and Eastern Ghats' breeding program.
