“Arignar Anna Zoological Park is managed by two hundred and fifty-nine members of staff and some contract workers. It covers about 602 hectares, including a rescue and rehabilitation centre. Arignar Anna Zoological Park has more than 2300 animals. The zoo has achieved excellence as a dynamic conservation centre of nature by encouraging the Western and Eastern Ghats' breeding program. It welcomes more than 2 million tourists from across the nation and from all over the world. Each tourist can enjoy a wild first-hand trip to the safari parks, where visitors can easily spot lions and deer. Arignar Anna Zoological Park offers free admission for children aged five and under.
