"Dehradun Zoo was built as a mini-zoological park with well-designed enclosures that provide ample space for the animals. The Zoo was formed from part of Malsi compartments 1 and 2, the reserve forest of the Malsi Range of the Dehradun Forest Division, which lies to the south. The Zoo focuses on the objectives of ex-situ wildlife conservation, the conservation of biodiversity, and the creation of an educational and wildlife rescue centre. Amazing experience. Have seen several videos with lots of people so chose to stay nearby and visit this place by 8am. It paid off well. We have no one photobombing us. This is the main entrance. Bring your slippers else hire from shops here. They provide change room as well if you get totally drenched. Tea, coffee snacks all available inside. Place is truly beautiful you see the clear running water, high mountain walls on both sides, big crack in which you walk. Water dripping from sides. Lovely. Visit to experience.

Amazing place for a quick adventure.Cave is absolutely stunning & the water's clean. Would require moderate level of athleticism to move around difficult stretches but otherwise pretty great way to spend time with anyone. Would take around 2-3 hrs for a round trip upto the open area.

It was amazing. I'm grateful to have a visit here. It is the best place to visit if you are in Dehradun. It was a great experience. It feels like you are in Man Vs Wild. The Cave the mountains the Waterfall, it was a bunch of adventures and fun. Totally worth going here.

SAHASTRADHARA ROPEWAY REVIEWS

Sahastradhara is great place to visit from the religious point of view and also from the tourism. There are natural sulphur swimming pools and also a temple of Shiva naturally made in a cave natural waterfall is there from which water is falling in thousand streams that is the reason it is called sahasradhara there is also a fun park water park ropeway by buying ticket to you can use the rope way to go to the top of the peak and their you can enjoy some adventures there is also park restaurant to eat you can enjoy the complete view of Dehradun valley.

I visited this around end of March. The location can be reached via 2wheeler or 4 wheeler with about 45mins drive from dehradun. The route is mountainous so some sharp turns on the way can be expected. The location is water pools of several level. You can take bath depending on the cold. I also visited the top via rope way (200 rs per person), and the top view is very nice. Lots of flowers and fauna can be observed on the top, one can eat and have beverages on the top.

I went to this place without any expectation but this place really blown up my eyes....one of the less crowded place...but the Ropeway and the river will give you a beautiful view of mountains and the a natural vibe...never before experience.
