Maharaj Bagh Zoo, located in Gorepeth, Nagpur, is a delightful spot for a day out, especially for families and nature lovers. Outside the entrance, you’ll find food stalls where you can grab a quick snack or refreshment, which is convenient after exploring the zoo. The Cannon Ball tree outside the entrance is a unique attraction and definitely worth a look. It’s quite rare, and its unusual flowers and fruits are an interesting sight. Best Place to spend quality time with family or friends. I visited twice once with friends and the other time I took family to have a great day. We enjoyed watching Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer and a variety of Fishes and Birds. You can watch alligators as well.

Great place for kids in the city! The tiger is Awesome! Would be very good if they start maintaining the place better for animals rather than maintaining the Gardens.

This place has a great historical significance. This Fort is really awesome to visit. Every Nagpurian should visit it atleast once. Tourists come here as it is a great attraction in Nagpurian. One limitation is that it is opened only on Independence Day and Republic Day.

It’s open on the second Sunday of every month and on Independence Day and Republic Day. I was lucky to be able to visit it! Lovely fort with interesting history. Takes about an hour and a half at a leisurely pace to see. Must visit highly recommend. PS: the entrance is near the railway.

Great heritage of Nagpur City. It's a big fort with a lot of rooms and bunkers to explore. Fort situated in the center of the in the centre of the city. A must visit place.

It was under renovation in 2024. It is just next to freedom park and metro station. One time visit.It was constructed during the time of the British Rule; it holds a great historical significance. The British used it as a starting point to measure the distance of many states and towns from Nagpur which is at the geographical heart of India. A zero mile marker is located here. A sandstone pillar and statues of four horses mark the spot

Nice place with a lot of history! The red "0 Miles" board looks good, but the area is a bit overgrown with bushes and needs better maintenance. The tower also needs some repair. Still, it's a must-visit spot if you're in Nagpur, feels great to stand at the old center point of India.
