Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park has a fantastical element to it and spans 1,254.71 hectares, with 289 hectares developed so far. The zoo currently houses 32 mammalian species, 49 bird species, and seven reptile species. In Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, most native faunal species' enclosures have been given mythological names based on their roles and relationships mentioned in ancient texts.
