Great place to see history’s one of the most important story. Very complex architecture that was built more than 850 years ago. There have been some restoration works done to the temple in 2004 and that shows. Beautiful place to understand how ancient people carved on stone and without the use of cement. Must visit.

Om namah Shivaya..!! Beautifull architecture and filled with lord shiva spiritual energy. Well maintained and restored. Built by Rudra deva in 11th century during Kakatiya dynasty. Limited parking space. They are charging 50/- for 4 wheelers & 10/- for 2 wheelers.

Warangal Fort is perfect for history enthusiasts, architecture lovers, and spiritual seekers. The serene atmosphere, surrounded by greenery and ancient ruins, provides a glimpse into India's glorious past. Built during the Kakatiya Dynasty in the 12th century by King Ganapati Deva and later developed by his successor Rani Rudrama Devi, the fort holds significant historical, cultural, and architectural importance. Massive stone gateways, called Kakatiya Kala Thoranams, are iconic and a symbol of Telangana's heritage. Intricately carved pillars, sculptures, and motifs reflect the Kakatiya dynasty's artistic expertise. The fort was attacked and partially destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate led by Malik Kafur in the 14th century.

Warangal Fort is an amazing place to visit if you’re in Warangal. The fort is massive and full of history, with incredible views. The architecture is impressive— Wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The sunset views from the fort are absolutely worth it, and the evening light and sound show adds a nice touch. Perfect for history lovers, photographers, or just anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic spot to explore.

It was less of a fort and more of an exhibition of excellent carved architecture. The talent of the mischievous people needs to be appreciated more than the actual architects, as they made sure none of the sculptures are maintained in good condition. There is no fort, only the left overs of the fort are maintained.

great place for those who value heritage and architecture sadly there are very few places left to visit in Warangal this one and the fort is something that you shouldn't miss
