Our stay here was lovely, the staff are wonderful and so helpful. The rooftop restaurant serves yummy food and the included breakfast is also very good. The rooms are nice the only downside is the window is very high up and it’s covered so it can feel a bit disorientating as there is no natural light. But for the price we paid we can’t complain. The room had pretty much everything we needed and the staff even brought us a hairdryer when we asked. They also helped us book taxis and offered to book us tours. There is a lovely view of the Taj Mahal from the rooftop of the hotel and it’s a 5 minute walk to the east gate of the Taj!

I recently had the pleasure of staying with this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities, pool, rooftop restaurant were top-notch and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options to cater to diverse tastes. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing stay.

Very comfortable stay. We have made a one night booking with the resort. The room size is bit smaller but very decent and neat. Everybody is courteous and polite. The evening dinner is spectacular. We had live orchestra in the background. Highly recommended stay if you want something closer to Taj Mahal (just 800m away) and affordable.

Easily accessible, pocket friendly, good rooms, decent service, located close to west gate of Tajmahal. what else may one need. Amar is one of the oldest hotels in Agra but has continuously upgraded itself, hence you don't find any modern amenity missing. The staff has been old but trained and courteous and the management is responsive. And yes the restaurant is good as well, if not amongst the best.

It was actually a nice experience in Hotel Amar. The location is very prime. we ordered it from outside for all 2 days of stay
