The Scindia School was founded by the late Maharaja Madho Rao Scindia of Gwalior in 1897, as the Sardar School. It was meant exclusively for sons of Indian royalty and nobility. It was renamed, "The Scindia School", in 1933, as it evolved into a public school with a Board of Governors, presently headed by Jyotiraditya Scindia, scion of Scindia family.[4][7]The Scindia School is a private boarding school for boys, established in 1897, and situated in the historic Gwalior Fort, in the city of Gwalior. It was originally started exclusively for royals and nobles of Indian princely states, particularly the Marathas, though it no longer discriminates on class.[4][5] In 2010, the school enrolled 606 students, with a teacher.

I am an art teacher in The Scindia School since 2018. I have taught many students here. I love the school environment and atmosphere always. There are very supportive people arround us. Students feel like home always.

Recently my daughter who was part of one Educational Exchange programme of her NOIDA School and got a chance to visit and Spent a week time there. It was just an amazing experience where she experienced some of the memorable moments of her educational and personal life in the wide spread Lush Green beautiful Campus of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior ... Disciplined boarding life , full of educational activities, social awareness programme, hobby classes , Sports , Career oriented curriculum and best Management , teachers and supporting staff worth mentioning. We wish our daughter could have been part of this school.

Good facilities in his campus comparison of other schools. Good environment for students knowledge and personality development growth.

Visited the girls' hostel for my daughter's admission. Impressed by the good architecture, polite staff, and the inclusion of sports activities. The lush green surroundings make it a pollution-free environment. Overall, a promising place for my daughter's stay.
