A book shop in the middle of world famous asal lake. A coffee shop accompanied the bookshop. The day I visited it , the coffee shop was closed due to snowfall the previous day. The books are alive here. This books shop has a Limca book of world records. A must visit for a book lover and traveller in Srinagar.

Kashmir Book Depot aka KBD is my favourite book store in Srinagar. The reason for that is that it does contain all you need and more. Moreover what you want apart from your need of books is a handsome discount while you buy them, this is the place that always does that.
