A book shop in the middle of world famous asal lake. A coffee shop accompanied the bookshop. The day I visited it , the coffee shop was closed due to snowfall the previous day. The books are alive here. This books shop has a Limca book of world records. A must visit for a book lover and traveller in Srinagar.

Vast collection of books available. Each book is well placed in an appropriate section. Staff is friendly.

Its always a pleasure to visit. The owner is very humble and helpful and always smiling. He offers extremely good discounts on almost all of his products. Its a very old store and i remember visiting it since i was a kid. A lot of childhood memories attached to it too.. highly recommended.

Kashmir Book Depot aka KBD is my favourite book store in Srinagar. The reason for that is that it does contain all you need and more. Moreover what you want apart from your need of books is a handsome discount while you buy them, this is the place that always does that. Recently I bought my 2nd Professional MBBS textbooks from here at a very genuine price. I highly recommend this place!!

All kinds of books whether academic or Competitive examinations books you can easily find there. From schools upto university books are available for everyone including research scholars.......

I have an old relation with these book shops, i mean ALI MOHAMMAD AND SONS. I am buying different books from these shops since 2013. I feel excited on visit.
