2026 Update: St. Michaels High School, located at Digha Ghat in Patna, is a Catholic missionary educational institution founded in 1858 by Dr. Anastasius Hartmann, the first Bishop of Patna, from the Franciscan (Capuchin) Missionary Society. The school is led by Principal Fr. A. Christu Savarirajan S.J., and currently has over 4,800 students, both boys and girls, as it moves into its 165th year."
