Her educational background includes an MBBS from Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, in 1993 and a Diploma in Family Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore, in 2010. Additionally, she pursued a distance fellowship in diabetes management at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, in 2012.
