"Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology was established as Dr. D. Y. Patil Women's College of Engineering in July 1998. The institute was changed into a co-education college named Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pimpri, Pune, in the academic year 2002–2003. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. Ranked 172 in the engineering category by the National Institute of Ranking Framework in 2021. The institute is located in the vicinity of a Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt, which is one of the largest industrial belts in Asia. "Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is an autonomous college of engineering, and it is run by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). There are about 3720 students, 225 faculty members, 67 labs, one central library and 150 administrative and support staff at the university. The campus is spread over a 7-acre field. This college named on D.Y patil the well known face of maharashtra basically from kolhapur and served as a governor of bihar too a decade back. His contribution towards education and development is a milestone achievement. This campus is for technical education and specification of computers mainly. And what to say about infrastructure it has everything specially the radius of campus area is much larger compared to other colleges of pune. Admission process is either way though the majority is any way through merits but there is a quota if one wants to go personal ,where one need to pay few extra bucks and get the admission which is common now a days and every college has this admission system respective of the population our nation holds with equality where not everyone can fit in the merits but have rights to study as per their choice other than iits and iims.

The place which shaped my innate qualities is Civil engineering department of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology pimpri pune. Glad to say that it were best institute for placement and education . Best choice for students .Here, the all faculties are more cooperative and they help and support us in all technical and non technical activities. Mainly this college concentrates on knowledge and interest towards the subject. The staffs guide us to join in many useful Clubs.I was the member of Srusti club and CESA Club under the CESA club & Srusti club we conducted very productive activities.Also i want to mention when i was coordinator of Sanskriti cltural event,All the faculties was very supportive for the whole event.My college is prominent for producing intellectual citizens to society. It is the best place to take the first step in your professional ladder.

The institute is centrally located in the Pimpri Chinchwad area having best infrastructure, quality education, strong industry connect and placement record, wonderful platform for entrepreneurship development and excellent extra curricular environment. 'Zion' a famous technical fest happens every year. Institute is having a ' Rotaract Club' which helps students develop students socially and professionally by conducting various national and international level activities. Alumni of the college are spread worldwide and working successfully in almost every field and are in continuous touch with their ulma matter so as to help it any possible way to make it excellent. Management is well known for providing best facilities to the student and having various institutions like Medical, Management, Pharmacy etc. In short DIT, Pimpri is best place for best technical education.
