“Dr. Raju Kanakia earned his MBBS and MD degrees from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals. He is trained in various aspects of gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. Dr. Raju specialises in Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis B-C and gallstones. The time he spends with his patients to understand their delicate needs sets him apart from most of his colleagues in gastroenterology. Dr. Rajendra Kanakia is a member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology. Dr. Kanakia has been an instrumental and founding member of the Grant Medical College Alumni Association, one of the oldest medical institutions in India. Dr. Rajendra Kanakia has recently added capsule endoscopy to his state-of-the-art endoscopy suite. Currently, he is practising at Kanakia Health Care.
