The library has an extensive collection of 381,079 books, including rare literature in English, Hindi, Bengali, French, German, Italian, Urdu, and Sanskrit. The MJ Library, located in different parts of Ahmedabad city, offers various periodicals monthly, weekly, and fortnightly. The library has taken steps to preserve Gandhiji's collection by storing it in time capsules. They also have a mobile van service that delivers books to readers' doorsteps. Overall, the library has six branches in different parts of the city. They offer affordable memberships and a variety of resources, including e-books and magazines, to enhance students' learning.
