3 Best Libraries in Pondicherry, PY

The library has a huge collection of books especially on Indian culture, history, philosophy, politics, etc. You can only borrow books if your aadhaar card address is from Pondicherry. However, you can sit and read from the library.

Well maintained, air conditioned, reference section and exam preparation section are also available in 1st and 2nd floor for aspirants and students. no own books allowed inside. restrooms are available in the backside of the building. A peaceful and calm place to immerse yourself in reading.

My most favorite place during my school days. I got interested in reading electronics from here only. The thirst made me to study electronics engineering at PEC later days. Lot of old collections of books for all ages is available here. Great library!!!

It's a very good Library and they have all the books from around the world. The collection is actually so good and there are many classics here. The sitting area are so comfortable, it's well lit and ventilated.

One of the best libraries I have ever visited. They have various books of various different categories. The sitting areas are very different but very comfortable. It's easy to locate the books as well. Anyone is allowed to visit the library.

Various types of books are distributed in perfect way. Nice collection. Most amazing I found is cushion and pillow are placed, where you can lie down and read books..

I am so happy to find Mathioli's Arichuvadi library near our place. There are very few libraries in pondy .It's totally need of the day. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. My kids liked the collection and now there is an interesting off screen hobby.

One of the best privately managed, charity based library with so much of books and special calm and serene environment. Hily appreciable and dedicated staff run the library. We can visit free of cost, enjoy daily news papers, periodicals and even take home, the books of our choice
