"Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute has a team of professional faculty who strive to practice evidence-based medicine. They offer 15 courses such as MD, MS and MBBS, across 11 specialisations with 217 seat intake. The courses offered at the institute are approved by NMC. The Central Library Block comprises five Floors with a floor area of 2,500 sq m, which has a reading capacity for 150. Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute offers MBBS seats along with courses under specialisation such as obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT and Social preventive medicine. PIMS located 10km from Pondicherry city. It's one of the best medical college and have all the high medical fesilities with highly qualified doctors. Also like the way of They treating the patients. Cost also very low and poor people can use this opportunity for their emergency. Emergency care unit also avail for 24hrs with doctors.

It's a nice medical college under Pondicherry university.they give equal importance in studies and other cultural activities.Also the clinical and community postings where given from the starting year itself.All medical and paramedical students maintain a good interpersonal relationships.

Good hospital with many facilities.We, as a family often come to PIMS hospital whenever we are in need of medical emergency. One stop for all your medical needs. I trust them wholeheartedly. Caring doctors and nurses with mere patience.

World class hospital with outstanding infrastructure. For first time visitors: Be there in hospital as earliest in the morning and not late than 11 AM. First right after the gate you can see the new Patient registration building. Ask the security in front of the building and they will provide a registration form with token number. Get inside and fill the form . In counter, they will give the new hospital record after registering it to the respective divisions as you needed. Then visit the OP and could be another line there for the patients. Very good hospital, treatment and staff but the waiting time and the number of time need to visit may suffer. Critical patients can visit to casualty Incase needed.

This Hospital was constructed during people CM N.Rangasamy rule. Eventhough JIPMER hospital is available within 2Km distance from this Govt Hospital, this gains more people trust. Thanks to N.Rangasamy (President of NR Congress).

The staff is not proactive. You need to reach out to them, ask with a lot of details about whatever query you have and then they will guide you. Will be great if they have proper systems at place and make it a client/patient friendly hospital.

One of the neatest & clean medical college hospital. Well maintained, hygienic & good. Doctors & co staffs are doing their best to give the best treatment for patients. Ample car parking area. Huge campus.
