“The Partition Museum has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors since its inception. Founded by the Government of Punjab in collaboration with The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (UK), the museum was established to honor and memorialise those affected by the Partition of India. The museum spans over 17,000 square feet and offers an immersive, world-class experience through multiple media formats. Its collection includes items brought by refugees during the sudden partition of Pakistan and India, as well as stories, materials, and documents related to the post-Partition riots. The museum offers free entry for children aged five and below and Partition survivors. They also actively promotes internships through an ongoing program.”
