Wagah Border marks the boundary between India and Pakistan along the Grand Trunk Road. Major General Mohinder Singh Chopra and Brigadier Nazir Ahmed are the founders of Wagah Border. It is offering a mix of patriotism, excitement, and cultural display. The Wagah Border Ceremony, also called the Beating Retreat Ceremony, takes place daily. Every evening before sunset, Indian and Pakistani military forces gather for a 30-minute display of discipline and coordination. The Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers have conducted this ceremony, which includes closing the gates and lowering the flags of both countries. The entire area is heavily monitored by the BSF, which ensures the safety of the visitors.
