The National Rail Museum features a state-of-the-art auditorium with seating for up to 200 people. The museum showcases 163 years of Indian Railways' historical heritage and has the world's largest collection of rail simulators. Visitors can enjoy toy train rides and 3D virtual reality experiences at the newly built heritage restaurant. The museum's artifacts include diesel and electric locomotives, as well as royal saloons. In addition, the Rail Museum hosts an annual summer camp. The extensive outdoor gallery at the museum replicates a railway yard setting, featuring a diverse collection of steam, diesel, and electric locomotives.
