This is an extremely beautiful place. I wanna request to everyone. if you come to Kolkata. You should visit Victoria Memorial at least one time. Here our history is explained very well. You will see the art of architecture. Outside of Memorial very enchanting. It is a peaceful place. Good safety and security here. There are two types of ticket rates 30 & 50. One interesting point is if you are preparing for a Government job and reading Lucent and another general competition book. You can revise your history here.
One of the must visit places if you're in Kolkata. This is a museum which used to be Queen Elizabeth's palace (home) once upon a time. The place is good to visit with family, friends or even solo. The architecture is awe-inspiring and the garden around the place is maintained very nicely. The lakes and gardens surrounding the whole place make the atmosphere soothing and make you feel closer to nature and away from the noise of the city.

Great place to visit in Kolkata. Beautiful views and exhibits in the museums. They also have an aquarium section! I recommend the cable car aswell. Their only problem are the lines! The wait is so long there, I recommend buying tickets online in advance.
