"Howrah Bridge features a suspended span across the Hooghly River, replacing a pontoon bridge that previously connected both Howrah and Kolkata. It ranked as the 6th-longest cantilever bridge of its kind globally, with approximately 100,000 cars and potentially more than 150,000 pedestrians traversing it. Howrah Bridge is one of the four renowned bridges spanning the Hooghly River and is considered a Historical Bridge. Its main tower was constructed using single monolith caissons, with all work carried out below ground level. Each half of the suspended span weighs 2,000 tonnes and measures 282 feet in length. The view of the bridge at night is equally stunning, as it is beautifully illuminated, highlighting its impressive architecture.

Visiting Zoo was an enjoyable and refreshing experience. Walking through its vast greenery, I encountered a fascinating variety of animals, each showcasing the beauty of wildlife. From the majestic tigers to the playful monkeys, every moment was filled with curiosity and wonder. The calm environment, shaded pathways, and the sight of animals in their enclosures made it a perfect mix of learning and leisure. It’s a place where nature and wildlife come alive, offering both relaxation and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Visiting a zoo can be a delightful and educational experience for people of all ages. Zoos offer a unique opportunity to observe and learn about a wide variety of animals up close, many of which are difficult or impossible to encounter in the wild. They are excellent places to explore the wonders of biodiversity and gain insight into conservation efforts.

I recently visited with my family and had an absolute blast! The venue offered a range of affordable food stalls, serving everything from burgers to street food, popcorn, ice cream, and hot beverages. Old colonial building with ample space for a perfect picnic. Transportation is easy to the place We went there on day of saraswati pooja and that too on sunday so it was full of couples. Nice place to have a little stroll in evening or early morning.

I visited Prinsep Ghat during the day, and it was peaceful with a nice breeze coming off the river. The historic monument looked impressive, and the greenery around made it a perfect spot for a relaxing walk. It felt like a calm escape right in the middle of the city.
