“Bihar Museum is a six-story building spread over 5.6 hectares, with a built area of 24,000 square meters. It features four core exhibition sections: educational, lobby, administrative, and permanent galleries. The museum showcases various subjects in separate galleries, including the Orientation Gallery, Children's Gallery, Regional Gallery, Contemporary Gallery, and Historical Art Galleries. It also exhibits simulations of the Asian paradise flycatcher, Indian giant flying squirrel, and other animals, birds, trees, and plants native to Bihar. Each gallery is spacious and houses numerous artefacts dating back to the 4th century. The museum offers wheelchair accessibility and includes a children’s gallery, a coin storage section, and a visible storage section.”
