I have not seen such a great use of information technology anywhere else. It has made the entire museum a place to reckon with. Rotary Clubs across the world have donated these dolls to the Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown. It is spread on 2 floors. Museum has 1600+ ethnic and traditional dolls from over 102 countries. The dolls are showcased in dresses replicating the places from where they hail. The places like doll house, railway station, Disney world, traditional homes, village and religious ceremony are created using these dolls. It is a very good place for a quick visit with kids. X in the city. It brings back the childhood. The staffs were well informed and helped to show us everything and give the stories behind all.
There is an extensive selection of dolls from various parts of the world available to explore. The museum houses an impressive collection of over 1500 dolls. The attendant at that place will provide you with fascinating insights about the doll, the country it comes from, and its significant cultural worth.

The Watson Museum, considered to be one of the best among the seven such museums located across Saurashtra (region) and managed by the Gujarat state Government, it has collections of precious objects from the princely State of Rajkot founded by the Jadeja Rajputs. It holds invaluable articles, artifacts, photographs, a reference library and the museum's publication are sold through a counter.
Nice place to visit in Rajkot city centre . It is nearby to Gandhi Museum as well Trikon Baug. A library is just it's opposite side by a trust. There's park to walk n sit on in and around the Museum.
Loved this museum! There was tons of historical knowledge and information. Plenty to show for the history of India and the influences of the British empire.
