Ranchi Science Center offers a variety of exhibits for both children and adults. Managed by the Jharkhand Council on Science and Technology (JCST), the museum was developed by the National Council of Science Museums, a division of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The science centre is housed in a two-story building covering 42,000 square meters on a 13-acre site. It features three permanent thematic galleries and plays a vital role in promoting public awareness of science and technology. The centre offers interactive exhibits on topics such as simple machines, sound, optics, pendulums, and static models of prehistoric animals.

Established in 1974 on the premises of the Tribal Research Institute, this museum was originally known as the Ranchi Museum. It showcases Jharkhand's rich cultural heritage through ten galleries and features paintings by artists from various states, including Bengal, Odisha, and Bihar. The museum buildings contain numerous historical and contemporary artworks created by renowned artists from Jharkhand. In addition to its vast cultural, historical, and artistic resources, the museum has a well-equipped library that can accommodate up to 300 people.
