My mother was recently diagnosed with brain tumor( Meningioma). We consulted Dr Maqsood Ahmed AR at the Manipal Hospital, Mysore and got the surgery done. He explained the situation well, pros and cons about the surgery which helped us understand what to expect. He is always on top of things and would answer any number questions that my family asked. His follow up care after the surgery was exceptional. His expertise and knowledge is amazing!! My mother has made a good recovery after the surgery. He is a great Neurosurgeon. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed AR is a legend. His skill, expertise and knowledge in complex brain and spine problems are unmatched. I underwent a major spine tumor excision surgery and he was my surgeon. I recovered well without any problems and I’m able to sit and stand with ease which I was not able to do prior to the surgery. Whether it is to consult, get opinion on something or to get operated on, I’d only recommend going to Dr. Maqsood. For anything related to brain and spine you need a doctor you can trust with your instincts and I can only recommend him for the best treatment possible.
