“Prof. Dr. Saibal Moitra earned his MBBS with distinction from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, in 1997. He further pursued his Doctor of Medicine in Respiratory Medicine at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, completing the program in 2001. Following this, he undertook advanced training at the University of London, where he initiated his work in the field of respiratory allergy. Dr. Saibal Moitra achieved fellowship status with both the American College of Chest Physicians and the Indian College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. His specialization lies in managing Bronchial Asthma and Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases. Actively involved in research, he focuses particularly on asthma in children. Dr. Saibal has contributed significantly to the field, with more than 50 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and chapters in various books. In addition to his academic achievements, Prof. Dr. Saibal Moitra holds the position of Adjunct Professor and Senior Consultant in the Department of Allergy & Immunology at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata.
