“Dr. Prasan Deep Rath completed his MBBS and MD from SCB Medical College (MCI Recognised) Utkal University, Orissa, India. He also completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, at Universidad Católica de Murcia, Spain, and a Postgraduate Programme in Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins University, USA. Dr. Prasan Deep Rath is a Life Member of the Indian Rheumatology Association, the Indian Medical Association, the Association of Physicians of India, and the European Lupus Society. He has expertise in Biological Therapies, Ultrasound-Guided Diagnosis and Joint Procedures. He is one of the first rheumatologists to use Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in his country as well as start Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshops and training for rheumatology trainees and other rheumatologists. He provides state-of-the-art treatments for the majority of rheumatic conditions. Prasan Deep Rath is also a director and head of the department of rheumatology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi. He is one of the first to start Nail Fold Capillaroscopy in clinical practice.”
