He also completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Universidad Católica de Murcia, Spain, and a Postgraduate Programme in Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins University, USA. Dr. Prasan Deep Rath is a Life Member of the Indian Rheumatology Association, the Indian Medical Association, the Association of Physicians of India, and the European Lupus Society. He has expertise in biological therapies, ultrasound-guided diagnosis, and joint procedures. Dr. Prasan Deep Rath has 26 years of experience in the field. He is the first rheumatologist in his country to use musculoskeletal ultrasound and to start musculoskeletal ultrasound workshops and training for rheumatology trainees and other rheumatologists. He provides state-of-the-art treatments for the majority of rheumatic conditions. Dr. Prasan Deep Rath is also a director and head of the department of rheumatology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi. He introduced Nail Fold Capillaroscopy into clinical practice.”
