The water is good and clean and is maintained regularly. The pool is a good place to spend with your friends and family. The pool is maintained by Sports development authority of Tamil Nadu. They charge 50 INR for guests to enter the pool for a duration of 1 hour, which is more than enough for the clean water and the guards! There is always back up for novice swimmers and learners in the pool. There are nearly three to four guards who always look for our backs every time. Those keen eyes and ears are always remarkable when we call for help. There are also swimming classes for all age groups here and you need to join membership for pieces of training and regular sessions. If you are not a member, 50 INR will be charged per hour for the classes. Another important feature of the pool is a baby pool, The baby pool is nearly 2 feet deep suitable for infants below 5 years to learn swimming. The main pool measures from 2 feet depth to 8 feet. The main pool is about 2000 sq.ft in the area and can hold about 74800 gallons of water. Overall is a good pool for all age groups!

The 25m swimming pool exceeded my expectations. The facility is well-maintained, water quality is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Whether you're a serious swimmer or just looking for a refreshing dip, this pool offers a fantastic experience with its spacious lanes and comfortable atmosphere."The fee is also nominal it’s just 60 rupee for the public and also has option of monthly, quarterly,halfyearly and yearly . It’s run by the government and has card and upi payment option .No cash is accepted here.

SDAT SWIMMING POOL REVIEWS

There are 2 pools. One is a big one that's 7 feet deep its entire length. The other one is a smaller one and it gets deeper from 5 feet to 7 feet... Better for those who know a bit of swimming. Since there is no cover like what we have in Anna stadium, it is hot. And the water is green.

One of the rarest pool which has 50 mts long pool in Tamilnadu. Well maintained and in reasonable rates.

Nice place to learn swimming U can enjoy with your friends and family.
