3 Best Tourist Attractions in Gwalior, MP

A must visit place while in Gwalior. It's wonderful to witness the history standing right in front of you. I visited during the late afternoon part of the day and was thus watching an amazing sunset view. And as the night was full moon, I had an opportunity to have a beautiful moonlit fort view too as I waited for the light and sound show. The show itself was good too , but a bit overpriced for a 35 minutes show as at Rs.250 per head for Indian adults. Tickets can be obtained at the gates instantly at Rs 25 per head for three sites and another Rs 20 for five sites.

The most important visiting place in gwalior .. this fort takes back to 16th century.. it has very unique architecture and monuments all over . The half fort is taken care by state government and other half by central government.

Wonderful fort that captures our imagination of the centuries of change of power and the historical relics are to be seen in detail. A full day well spent, ending with the fabulous 3D light and sound show in the evening.

A good place to visit. Has a surprisingly big collection of species. The tiger and lion enclosures are impressive. so are the crocodile and bear enclosures. They have a very large collection of bird species. Good place to visit. Even in the scorching sun, there is a good tree cover in the zoo.

must visit perhaps one of the best zoos of India..you can see ostrich, emu, bear, tiger, lion,snakes, deers and many birds.

Well managed zoo in limited place.. animals like Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Fox, Hippopotamus, Ghariyal, Crocodile, Deer, Bear, Monkey, Different type birds, flightless birds like Ostrich Emu,Aquatic birds, reptiles like snakes, python. Friday Closed.

The majestic architectural marvel.. Visited for the first time only to realise the silent serene beauty of the place. Rightly be called as Tomb of Mohammad Ghaus Sahab legendary Sufi Saint and Tansen's teacher. The entire complex comprises several shrines and graves scattered all around. The graves as the locals told are some of the family members of Muhammad Ghaus Sahab and some of his Murids(Disciples). Recommended for a visit!!

Well maintained Tomb...the main tomb is of Guru of Tansen....Tansen Tomb is small one, in the same premises.Muslims pray here .Nicly carved window panes all over walls of Tomb.
