We used the google map and try to reached over there , but that rode was closed so we asked near by people they told us that you need to take right turn from Belapur police chauki that is the easy way to reached there . Best place I loved these places a lot . Lots of untold history behind it. Small trek but worth it best time is in the evening people are coming for walk on these rode . It was constructed in the 16th century by the Siddhis of Janjira. Later the fort has been passed to the Portuguese as well as the British who were present in the area. The fort had great significance in the past after being inactive for a long time. It has now gone into ruins. It's so much peaceful and calm there, that you won't feel like coming back from there. Not many people goes there due to the monsoon in the second week of August, and so I kind of had a romantic time in nature's lap all around the fort. There are high stairs of stones to climb to the top of the fort but they can be a bit slippery due to the extra mosses during the monsoon.
