My second visit to Sayaji Baug zoo after 5 years. It has been overhauled and made completely new but charm remains the same. New aviary section is full of exotic birds. Animal sections are expanded. Nice place to have family picnic and there is famous small train running around the park. Its great addition to Baroda city. Nice joyous place for kids and family.

Visited this majestic palace on a Sunday afternoon. The ticket charges for the palace are around 250 Rs per Indian adult. The museum was closed so we could not visit that. However the palace is very well maintained and has a beautiful architecture. It is said that it is one of the largest palaces in Asia and has a size 4 times larger than Buckingham Palace. One of the good parts was the audio visual device. It was very convenient and gave us enough information and was easy to follow. The audio visual guide was included in the ticket cost and we need not pay anything extra. Towards the end of the palace tour we also had mava cake at the cafe inside the palace which was also nice. Overall one requires 1 hour to see the palace nicely.

It's great to pass some time. Recently they have introduced entry fees, and some parking fees which should be kept in mind. Also there is additional fees for any kind of photography.
