Dashashwamedh Ghat was established by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao in 1748 and is located near the historic Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the banks of the Ganges River. "Ramnagar Fort is built with red sandstone, contains a temple and a museum. The temple is dedicated to Ved Vyas. The museum contains a collection of vintage cars, palanquins, swords, antique guns, ivory work, and antique clocks. Ramnagar Fort is divided into five galleries: vintage cars and palanquins, textiles, armoury, personal decorative items, and historical photographs. The palace is carefully designed and is decorated with lights and festivities during the Dussehra festival. This sandstone building served as the home of the royals for about 400 years.

2026 Update: Ramnagar Fort was built by Kashi Naresh Maharaja Balwant Singh in 1750. Inscriptions on the outer ramparts date back to the seventeenth century."
