Process for the donation: Bystander has to show the Patient card at counter no 1 and issue pass for the blood doner. Fill-up a form at the same counter when the doner comes. Get a slip from the counter and go to counter no. 2 for taking the sample and then to counter no 5. After donating the the required units, the bystander should get the blood requisition form signed from the counter no 5 and produce it to the ward.

Every year our nation requires about 5 Crore unitsof blood, out of which only a meager 2.5 Crore units of blood are available. The gift of blood is the gift of life. There is no substitute for human blood. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. Donate Blood Save Life.

The timing is 9am to 1pm. I was a voluntary donor who reached at 2pm. Still, they arranged all the facilities for donation. My thumbs up.

Attached to the Comopolitan Hospital (has NABH safe'I accreditation ) on Murinjapalam Pottakuzhi road. 24 hours service .. 8am to 4pm blood donors received on all days . Component separation done . Murinjapalam Bus stop is near by. Car and free scooter parking facility available in the vicinity.

Im a Regular blood donor at cosmo. Donating 3 times every year permanently.

Had visited this place, in need for blood with a request from SCT. The lady there was very supportive , and professional. I was asked to go back after an hour,for them to do matching etc.. she was on time and it went well. It was quite difficult to believe it was a govt owned organisation . Well maintained, clean and stands against the normal cliches of govt. orgs being pathetic.
