"Amar Singh College is a nodal college for the Kashmir Division, acting as a liaison between the departments of higher education and about fifty government colleges of the province. The way they teach and how their students learn are unique and creative. They aim to hone academic skills, fine-tune their students' talent and overall capabilities, and build each student's holistic environment and potential. Amar Singh College has a well-equipped library with a collection of about 70,000 books, including a collection of rare books. They have embarked on promoting and conducting Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programmes and conferences as part of their commitment to quality education and research. They encourage the development of skills to face future challenges in life successfully. Amar Singh College empowers youth through education and produces human resources with a quality of mind to carve out a meaningful and purposeful career in serving humanity. Over 35 hectares of land are divided into a large playground, parks, gardens, and infrastructure. 2026 Update: Over the years, the library has provided various services such as Issue-Return (RFID/SOUL/Manual), a reading room, browsing center, reprography, a suggestion box, book bank facility, and Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). In the future, the library plans to introduce services like a digital display board, orientation programs, subscription to research journals, e-resource facilities, and book exhibitions."
