The library primarily holds works related to Sikhism in Punjabi, with additional materials in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Sindhi, Persian, and Arabic. The restoration of the library was made possible through community, institutional, and individual donations, enabling it to recover and rebuild its collection. Sikh Reference Library is dedicated to preserving its rare and valuable resources. To safeguard its collection for future generations, the library has been digitising their materials, with approximately 4,000 works fully digitised.”
